On July 1, 2023, the Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Ryan Reaves to a three-year, $4.05 million contract, in an attempt to add toughness to the lineup.

However, after only recording eight points and failing to make an impact, he lost playing time which led to the Maple Leafs decision to trade him to the San Jose Sharks in July of this year.

But, his time in Toronto didn't end on good terms, and with the Sharks travelling to Toronto to take on the Leafs tonight, Reaves is ready to let them know he can still make an impact.

In Thursday's morning skate, Reaves was asked about how it feels facing his old team, and he didn't hold back.

“They basically said that I couldn’t play in this league anymore, and I’m back,” he said.

"Some honesty and communication would've been nice," he added.

What do you think about Reaves' comments?
