Martin Jones is now in the mix as the Maple Leafs add to their goaltending depth. The Toronto Maple Leafs will host the Montreal Canadiens in pre-season action at Scotiabank Arena on Monday and they will put out a lineup that should look similar to their projected lineup to open the regular season. Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, John Tavares and William Nylander will all be in the lineup along with Toronto's top defensive pair of Morgan Rielly and TJ Brodie. The Leafs put out a lineup of mostly depth players for a pair of pre-season games against the Canadiens over the weekend. Both teams are dealing with some injury issues. Particularly for Toronto on defense as John Klingberg and Conor Timmins have not been practicing. The Canadiens are expected to dress a lineup of depth players and announced on Monday that Joel Armia, Gustav Lindstrom and Alex Newhook are day-to-day with upper-body injuries.
