The 24-year-old from Peterborough, Ontario is fully healthy and ready to make an impact for a reloaded Utah Hockey Club.

At prospect camp in Park City, Utah HC defence prospect Maveric Lamoreaux skated for the first time since another shoulder surgery.
It was another step for the young man in his return to full activity for the club, wherever he starts the season.
When the club takes the ice in September for training camp, another familiar face will return fully healthy -- forward Barrett Hayton, who is looking to get back on track after a season full of injuries kept him sidelined for long periods of the year.
Speaking to reporters on Zoom Monday, fresh off signing his new extension with Utah, Hayton talked about how the adversity he's been through has made him a stronger player.
The 24-year-old forward was sidelined for much of 2023-24 with a broken hand before Christmas and a lower-body injury in March, yet he still registered 10 points in 33 games. This was after a 2022-23 season where he scored 19 goals, 18 of them coming after the Christmas break.
Hayton added he's excited to play with new additions Mikhail Sergachev, John Marino, Ian Cole, and Kevin Stenlund to "learn what it takes to win", calling all four of them "strong players".
But the excitement started a long time ago when the club first arrived for the fan forum in April, Hayton said. It was a moment he stated the red carpet was rolled out for them by management.
Now, he'll get to put his talents out on the ice for the first time on opening night in October.
"Just trusting the process; that's all you can control," Hayton stated. "I know the work I've put in; I know the impact I can have on games."
