Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller doesn't appear to have a serious injury. 240227 Tourigny Post Keller suffered an upper-body injury in the middle of the Coyotes’ Sunday night matchup against the Winnipeg Jets and has not played ever since. The 25-year-old forward skated for the first time on Thursday since the injury occurred, so it looks like he is on track to make a quick recovery. According to Coyotes team reporter Patrick Brown, coach André Tourigny said that Keller remains ‘day-to-day, but not tomorrow’ meaning he is still expected to miss the team’s next two games. The fact that Keller is listed as day-to-day and already skating is an extremely positive sign for the Coyotes. With Arizona falling out of the playoff race, there is no need to rush Keller from this injury and it’s important to ensure he is fully healthy before he ultimately returns. Through 57 games, Keller has 22 goals, 30 assists and 52 points as he is on pace to have yet another fantastic season. Keller will miss games against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators, but beyond that it’s unclear when exactly he is expected to make his return.
