The Arizona Coyotes have given David Ludwig a contract extension and have promoted him to the position of Assistant General Manager. Ludwig is now expected to assist general manager Bill Armstrong in running the club’s personnel and hockey operations, including salary cap management, contract negotiations, and Collective Bargaining Agreement/legal issues. For many fans that are unaware, Ludwig is oftentimes seen by Armstrong’s side at practices, so this move does make sense. “David has been an invaluable member of our hockey operations department.
