The Arizona Coyotes have traded defenseman Troy Stecher to the Edmonton Oilers with the NHL Trade Deadline just one day away. The Coyotes receive a 2027 fourth-round pick in exchange for Stecher and a 2024 seventh-round pick. In 47 games for the Coyotes this season, Stecher has one goal, four assists and five points while playing 18:26 minutes per game. The Coyotes traded Stecher before last year’s trade deadline to the Calgary Flames. He ultimately signed a one-year $1.1 million contract this past summer, returning to Arizona.
