André Tourigny addressed the media following Thursday’s practice and provided some important information regarding injuries. The Arizona Coyotes have had to deal with a number of injuries this season as it continues to be a topic of conversation. While it’s unclear when Nick Schmaltz got hurt, he was absent during practice and Tourigny informed the media that their first line forward will be a game-time for Friday’s matchup against the San Jose Sharks He did not go into any further detail about what sort of injury Schmaltz is currently dealing with. Jack McBain suffered a lower-body injury about a month ago and has been out ever since. However, McBain returned to practice on Thursday and Tourigny expects him to play against the Sharks. 231212_TOURIGNY_POSTGAME On the other side of things, Sean Durzi continues to nurse a lower-body injury suffered in a game last week against the Washington Capitals. Durzi has missed the Coyotes past two games and will be doubtful for tomorrow night according to Tourigny. He skated a little bit during practice but quickly made his way back to the locker room while watching the remainder of the team’s drills off the ice.
