The Utah Mammoth have lost a few key pieces of their roster to injuries early this season. Thankfully, their star players are still healthy and have shown up early this season to help them win games. That includes an eight game winning streak, which has helped them bank points, something they weren't able to do last season. They will become a deeper team when the both Alex Kerfoot and Sean Durzi return to lineup. But in there meantime, they've done a great job without them. Kerfoot had core abdomen surgery back on Oct. 24th and was expected to miss 8-10 weeks. That should put his return date somewhere in the middle of Dec. Unfortunately, he hasn't yet played a game this season. As for Durzi, he is dealing with an upper-body injury and was placed back on the IR on Oct. 17th. He did manage to play in two games this season, but has is expected to miss significant time.
