After catching a stray by baritone singer and avid Vancouver Canucks fan Michael Bublé, NHL insider Frank Seravalli wasted no time firing back.
The dispute started on Nov. 27, when Bublé appeared on Donnie and Dahli - The Team Podcast and made it clear he doesn't think highly of Seravalli.
"I keep reading these things from the media. I haven't said his name, but I'm just gonna say it: Frank Seravalli. Frank is probably a really good guy. I don't know Frank. But, if Frank Seravalli is a Canuck insider then the 40 year old virgin is a pornstar." Bublé said.
Seravalli, who's credibility is a hot topic amongst fans, is still a reputable source who has broken news such as the Seattle Kraken expansion draft details.
As expected, Seravalli responded to Bublé's comments during the Dec. 1 episode of Frankly Speaking.
"I found it very odd. I guess in the end I would expect nothing less of someone who has named one of his children after perhaps the NHL's most overpaid player. He has one of his kids that's partially named after Elias Pettersson, pretty odd." Seravalli said.
Bublé's son, Elias, was born in January of 2016, over a year before the Canucks drafted Elias Pettersson.
"Don't get caught up in the misdirection. What are Canucks fans talking about today? It's that, and not the fact that their team has been a dumpster fire. Classic misdirection," he added.
Do you think Seravalli's response was justified?
