The Vancouver Canucks (23-10-3) will look to start 2024 off with a bang as they welcome the Ottawa Senators (14-18-0) to Rogers Arena on Tuesday Night. Vancouver will be looking for the season sweep as they defeated Ottawa back in November 5-2. Since the start of 2021, this has been a matchup the Canucks have dominated, going 10-3-1 against the Senators.

While this may look like an easy win for Vancouver on paper, Ottawa has some dynamic players that will make teams pay for mistakes. The Senators are playing better as of late and have won three of their past four games coming into tonight's matchup. If the Canucks aren't ready from the opening faceoff, they could find themselves in a hole after the first period.

    Players to Watch

    J.T. Miller

Will this be the game J.T. Miller finally finds the back of the net? Vancouver's forward has gone eight games without a goal and has only had two in his past 16 games. The hope is he can break the streak against Ottawa as he looks to start 2024 on the right note.

    Vancouver Canucks 2023 Recap

    Brady Tkachuk

Brady Tkachuk is the type of player every team wishes they could have. The Senators captain is a pain to play against and is an expert at frustrating the opposition with his post-whistle antics. With 16 goals on the season, the Canucks need to ensure they do not just keep the puck off his stick but that they keep their cool after the play is blown dead.
