According to Rick Dhaliwal of "Donnie and Dhali," Juulsen could be out for the rest of the season as he is scheduled to have hernia surgery this week. Juulsen hasn't played since February 2 and has missed the last six games with an undisclosed injury.

So far this season, Juulsen has played 35 games while averaging 16:17 a night. He has also thrown 101 hits while blocking 60 shots. Since being acquired in 2021, Juulsen has played 109 regular season games with the Canucks, recording one goal and nine points.
The big question surrounding Juulsen is whether he will be back next season. The Surrey-born defender will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the campaign and may receive interest from other teams in the league. In 2023, Juulsen signed a two-year, $1.55 million contract extension with Vancouver, which carried an AAV of $775,000.
