While there were some nervous moments, he controlled the play well and didn't give up many rebounds in scoring positions. With just one goal allowed in his last two games, it appears that Šilovs is going to be a significant difference-maker in this series. Lastly, Abbotsford did a great job of getting in Nikke Kokko's crease and making the Seattle Kraken's [http://thn.com/seattle] prospects' night a difficult one. All three goals scored by the Canucks were from in tight, with two being generated from passes that came from behind the net. If Abbotsford can keep winning these net-front battles in the offensive zone, they should have plenty of success in this series. In the end, the Canucks were the better team, and have now put themselves in a great position. Abbotsford continually created chances and were able to match the physical play of Coachella Valley. If the Canucks can produce a similar performance in Game 2, they could be headed home with a chance to sweep their semifinal series.
