Miller is the fifth member of the Vancouver Canucks to be selected to a team, joining Quinn Hughes, Rick Tocchet, Elias Pettersson and Kevin Lankinen. Miller also participated in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey but was part of Team North America. While they did not make the initial list, two Canucks to watch are Thatcher Demko and Brock Boeser.
