Lekkerimäki, Pettersson, and DeBrusk were among the standout lines during training camp, but come the preseason, they were split up. So far this season, Lekkerimäki has spent the majority of his time beside J.T. Miller and most recently has featured in the Canucks bottom six. One of the big reasons for Vancouver's struggles is that their top players aren't producing, as Pettersson, Miller, DeBrusk, and Boeser have combined for five goals over the past seven games. As for Lekkerimäki, his focus heading into tonight's game should be getting as many pucks on net as possible. The 20-year-old is known for his shot, which is why he has 12 goals in 21 AHL games this season.
