Like every player, there are risks when it comes to Chytil. He has a history of concussions and has missed several games this season with upper-body injuries. His health will be something to monitor moving forward, as Vancouver will need him in the lineup as much as possible if they want to make the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The other player coming back is 6'3", 229 lbs, right-shot defenceman Victor Mancini. Initially drafted in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old already has 15 NHL games under his belt. In those 15 games, he has five points while averaging 15:05 of ice time. Mancini is an intriguing prospect. He projects as a third-pair defender who can play a physical game and isn't afraid to jump up into the rush. Based on the Canucks current roster, it looks like Mancini will be headed to the AHL, where he will join the Abbotsford Canucks.
