Their November matchup is the first of a back-to-back at home, with their opponent in the second-half of this stint being Colorado. In 2024–25, Columbus was a team that wasn’t expected to do a whole lot. However, with the Eastern Conference weak towards the middle, the Blue Jackets nearly slid into a playoff spot, finishing fourth in their division. In 2025–26, Columbus looks like relatively the same team from the year prior. It’s not likely they’ll be contenders, but some of their season results will depend on their conference. One spot that Vancouver will want to target when they play the Blue Jackets is in goaltending. Near the end of the 2024–25 season, the Canucks and Blue Jackets got into a massive 7–6 shootout, which could have ended in Vancouver’s favour had the team locked things down more defensively. Come November, the Canucks will need to keep this game in mind if they want to escape their season series against Columbus with four points. 2025–26 GAMES AGAINST VANCOUVER Game 1: November 8, 7:00 pm PT @ Rogers Arena Game 2: January 15, 4:00 pm PT @ Nationwide Arena Mar 28, 2025; Columbus, Ohio, USA; Vancouver Canucks left wing Drew O'Connor (18) carries the puck as Columbus Blue Jackets center Sean Monahan (23) trails the play during the second period at Nationwide Arena.
