The Capitals captain scored in the opening minute of the match between NHL and KHL stars.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin's still got it.
The 38-year-old took the ice on Saturday and put on a show in an All-Star game between the best NHLers and KHLers in Moscow.
Playing with Artemi Panarin, Evgeni Malkin and more familiar faces, Ovechkin got to work quickly, striking in the first minute of action. In classic Ovechkin fashion, his goal came off a snapshot from the left circle off a feed from Panarin.
He also had quite the celebration as he pumped up the crowd from the bench.
The final score of the game was 8-8, and Ovechkin was named the player of the game. Former Capitals Dmitry Orlov and Ilya Kovalchuk were on Ovechkin's team, while Dmitri Jaskin played for the KHL stars.
Ovechkin is entering his 20th NHL season and sits 42 goals away from breaking Wayne Gretzky's all-time goals record.
