The Capitals forward missed Monday’s morning skate due to maintenance.

The Washington Capitals will be without a key member of the lineup as they kick off a critical road trip, as Tom Wilson will not suit up for Monday’s tilt with the Winnipeg Jets.
Wilson’s absence is due to an upper-body injury, per the Capitals.
T.J. Oshie appears set to return to the lineup and take his place, as he was activated off the injured reserve earlier in the day. Ivan Miroshnichenko, the team’s call-up amid mounting injuries up front, also appears set to stay in.
Losing Wilson is tough, as the 29-year-old had goals in back-to-back games and has been showing good chemistry on the second line with Connor McMichael and Max Pacioretty.
