The 23-year-old joins a lengthy list of injured Capitals blueliners.

The Washington Capitals have lost another key blueliner to injury, as Martin Fehervary has left Friday’s game against the New Jersey Devils with a lower-body ailment.

Fehervary suffered the ailment at 7:50 of the second period of Friday’s tilt and will not return. He was in front of the net defending Dawson Mercer and, while he didn't appear to block Mercer's shot, he seemed to tweak something. He skated to the bench after the play went back up ice and did not return.

The Slovak defenseman joins a lengthy list of injured defensemen, as Washington is already operating without Trevor van Riemsdyk (lower-body) and Joel Edmundson (hand).
