The Capitals will host rookie camp from Sept. 16-19.
ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals are bringing hockey back to Annapolis, as the team will host part of its annual rookie camp at McMullen Hockey Arena, which houses the Naval Academy's hockey team, in addition to MedStar Capitals Iceplex.
Rookie camp will take place from Sept. 16-19 at both facilities. McMullen Hockey Arena has an Olympic-sized rink, and it will mark the first time since the 2018 Stadium Series that the Capitals will play hockey at the Naval Academy.
Hendrix Lapierre, as well as Ivan Miroshnichenko, Alexander Suzdalev, Andrew Cristall and Vincent Iorio, are among the confirmed attendees. The full roster will be released at a later date.
Training camp begins on Sept. 21, with the team's in-house media day taking place on Sept. 20.
