The Capitals' rookie camp is being held from Sept. 16-19.
ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals will see their rising stars take the ice in Arlington and Annapolis in the coming days, as Ivan Miroshnichenko, Hendrix Lapierre and more top names will skate in the team's rookie camp from Sept. 16-19 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex and McMullen Hockey Arena.
Miroshnichenko and Lapierre both returned to D.C. this past week and are also expected to get some work in with informal skates ahead of the mini-rookie camp and start of main camp, which officially kicks off on Sept. 21.
Here is the full rookie camp roster:
Forwards: Andrew Cristall, Ryan Hofer, Brett Hyland, Jake Karabela, Hendrix Lapierre, Ryan Leibold, Ivan Miroshnichenko, Henrik Rybinski, Alexander Suzdalev, Patrick Thomas, Bogdan Trineyev
Defensemen: Connor Hall, Vincent Iorio, Nick Leivermann, Adam McCormick, Jon McDonald, Spencer Meier
Goaltenders: Garin Bjorklund, Mitchell Gibson, Antoine Keller, Clay Stevenson

Top names beyond Miroshnichenko and Lapierre, who both have their sights set on a Capitals roster spot, to keep an eye on include Iorio and Rybinski, who won the Calder Cup and shared a house with Lapierre this past season with the AHL's Hershey Bears. Iorio is expected to get more time up in the NHL this season, while the team is also eager to see what Rybinski can do.
Suzdalev will also be an interesting name to keep an eye on as he prepares to make the pro jump this season following his time developing in the WHL with the Regina Pats.
2023 picks Andrew Cristall and Antoine Keller are also participating in camp.
