Leonard is joining a star-studded lineup that includes Trevor Zegras, Matt Rempe, Chris Kreider, Matty Beniers, Jake Oettinger and Frank Vatrano, among others. The 20-year-old is coming off his first taste of the NHL this past season after officially signing with the Capitals back in April following his tenure at Boston College. He had one goal in nine games to close out the regular season and added an assist in the postseason, while gaining valuable experience that should benefit him going forward.
