It forced Fehervary out of the game as he was in concussion protocol while experiencing soreness and pain in his jaw and leaving a mark. Nothing was broken, though, and the 25-year-old rearguard was good to go for action on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild. Then, in the second period against Minnesota, Fehervary took yet another high stick, this time from Marat Khusnutdinov, which again, did damage. It knocked off half of Fehervary's front tooth, drawing blood and sending the Capitals to a four-minute power play. That would result in Alex Ovechkin's 871st career goal, evening the score at 2.
