It marked his 12th goal of the season and fifth point in his last six games, and he is now on pace for 69 points. Beyond the stats, he was noticeable all night long, getting his stick on pucks, going hard on the forecheck and serving as a screen in front. Then, with time dwindling down in the second, McMichael fired home a shot from the slot for his team-leading 16th goal of the season. He's on pace for 41 goals on the year, along with 72 points.
