That's D.C. Hockey had a special guest on Monday, as former Washington Capitals goaltender Jose Theodore joined to discuss his days in D.C.

Theodore, who won the Hart and Vezina with the Montreal Canadiens in 2002, came to Washington after turning down a three-year extension with the Colorado Avalanche.

He went 20-0-4 down the stretch to close out his final year in D.C. and help the 2009-10 Capitals to the Presidents' Trophy. He also won the Bill Masterton Trophy that year.

Theodore discusses what it was like to be around a young Alex Ovechkin and if he ever thought he'd be closing in on Wayne Gretzky's record, his favorite team memories, wild Super Bowl parties in his basement, Bruce Boudreau pulling him twice in the playoffs and becoming a pilot.
