The Winnipeg Jets dropped their Thursday night affair with the New Jersey Devils by way of a rather lopsided 4-1 final.
The Jets allowed three power play goals against, while Nikolaj Ehlers scored Winnipeg's lone marker on the night.
Goaltender Laurent Brossoit took on an onslaught of shots, turning aside 37 of the 40 pucks fired his way, but dropped his first game in five, while seeing his personal shutout streak end at 179 minutes.
Jack Hughes scored two power play goals, while Luke Hughes, Timo Meier and Nico Hischier each had three points on the night for the Devils. Jake Allen made 18 saves on the 19 pucks sent his way.
Next up for the Jets is test No. 4 of the five-game road trip, as the team makes its way to Long Island for a Saturday afternoon tilt against the New York Islanders, to which they will look to get back in the win column.
That game features a 12:00 noon puck drop and can be viewed live on TSN.
