Friday night will mark the Winnipeg Jets' final game before the two-week, 4 Nations Cup, mid-season schedule break.
This probably couldn't have come at a worse time for Winnipeg, which has won seven-straight games heading into Friday's tilt with the New York Islanders.
However, the two weeks should give injured forwards Adam Lowry and Morgan Barron some extra time to heal their ailments.
Red-hot over the past two weeks, Winnipeg (38-14-3) will take on the 25-21-7 Islanders at 7:00 PM central downtown from Canada Life Centre.
The two changes to the Jets' lineup will be that of its stud goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who will re-enter the crease, after giving way to Eric Comrie on Tuesday night, and a simple addition/subtraction featuring Parker Ford (out) and Brad Lambert (in).
