The Winnipeg Jets host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.

The 13-8-2 Winnipeg Jets host the 14-8-1 Carolina Hurricanes from Canada Life Centre on Monday.

The game will be the first of three home matches to which Winnipeg will honour its Royal Canadian Air Force roots by wearing the brand new 'forty-eight' special alternate baby blue sweater.

Concluding their four-game homestand, the Jets will look to keep the good times rolling after snapping their mini three-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Fending off Connor Bedard and the Hawks by way of a 3-1 victory, Winnipeg is expected to ice a similar lineup in what will be the team's lone game against an Eastern Conference club in a span of nine contests.

The Jets will then hit the road for four games beginning on Thursday in Colorado, before heading far west for three games through California in just four nights starting on Sunday.

Laurent Brossoit will get the nod in goal, while Connor Hellebuyck gets some rest in advance of the lengthy heater forthcoming.

Vladislav Namestnikov remains injured, while Nate Schmidt once again will serve as a healthy scratch as Declan Chisholm has earned a second look on the blueline.

Logan Stanley will draw in as the seventh defenceman, while Axel Jonsson-Fjallby comes out as the Jets go 11/7.

Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Monday, December 4 vs. Carolina:

    Connor-Scheifele-Ehlers

    Vilardi-Perfetti-Iafallo

    Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton

    Barron-Gustafsson

    Morrissey-DeMelo

    Dillon-Pionk

    Chisholm-Samberg

    Stanley

    Brossoit

Healthy Scratch: Axel Jonsson-Fjallby, Nate Schmidt

    Injured: Rasmus Kupari, Vladislav Namestnikov

Monday's game features a rare 6:30 PM central start time, and can be viewed live on Sportsnet.
