Line Combinations: Preseason Game 6 - Jets vs. Senators

The Winnipeg Jets close out the 2023-24 preseason on Thursday evening.

The Winnipeg Jets take on the Ottawa Senators from Canada Life Centre on Thursday evening in the club's final preseason tune up. 

With opening night roster beginning to take shape, a few lineup positions are still up for grabs. The team skating on Thursday will have much more of a resemblance to the Jets' regular season lineup. 

After making a number of cuts earlier in the week, the Jets placed forward Jeffrey Viel on Waivers for the purpose of sending him to the minors.

With most of the team having dealt with an illness over the past week, the majority of those affected are back to health and will participate in Thursday's game. Nikolaj Ehlers will be a game-time decision as he continues to recover from ongoing neck spasms.

Skating on Wednesday morning, the Jets used five forward groupings and four defensive pairs during line rushes, with odd-man out Declan Chisholm rotating in. 

Puck drop on Thursday is set for 7:00 PM central time from Canada Life Centre. The game will be broadcast live on TSN.
