Former Manitoba Moose forward Nic Kerdiles has passed away following a motorcycle crash in Nashville on Saturday morning.

Local authorities have confirmed the death of former Manitoba Moose forward Nic Kerdiles following a motorcycle crash in early morning hours of Saturday in Nashville.

    He was 29.

Kerdiles ran a stop sign on his Indian Scout in a residential neighbourhood just north of central Nashville at approximately 3:30 AM. His bike collided with the driver's side of a passing BMW. Kerdiles was transported to hospital where he later died.

Alchohol and/or drugs have been ruled out as contributing factors to the wreck.

But he did conclude his career in the American Hockey League with the Moose. He played three games in Manitoba, collecting a singular assist and four penalty minutes during the 2018-19 season.
