Kyle Connor to join Connor Hellebuyck and Rick Bowness at All-Star Game.
The Winnipeg Jets will have three members representing the team at the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend in Toronto from February 1-3.
Having previously named goaltender Connor Hellebuyck and head coach Rick Bowness to the NHL's All-Star roster, the league announced on Monday that forward Kyle Connor will now be joining his mates in Toronto this February.
Officially filling in as an injury replacement, Connor will join New York Rangers forward Vincent Trocheck in the forward pool in place of Chicago's Connor Bedard and Vegas' Jack Eichel, who will both miss the event due to injury.
Connor, who skated for Winnipeg in the 2022 NHL All-Star Game will make his second appearance, as he recently worked his way back from an MCL injury that kept him out of action for 16 games in the first half of the Jets' schedule.
The 27-year-old has 18 goals and 29 points in 28 games played this season, and was within the NHL's top-five goal getters over the majority of the first 25 games of the year, including sitting at No. 3 at the time of his injury.
Connor has five game-winning goals on the year and remains atop the Jets in goal scoring, staying ahead of Nikolaj Ehlers and Mark Scheifele while on the sidelines.
