For the Jets, the busiest night of the year will be Tuesday, to which the team suits up in action 17 times. It will be followed closely behind by Saturday (16 games). Those 16 games on Saturdays are surprisingly near the league-low, with over two-thirds of the 32 clubs suiting up in 20+ games on Saturdays. Los Angeles owns the league-high with 25 Saturday night showdowns. Winnipeg will then see a slight drop-off for its next weekly-high, at 13 Thursday night affairs. The Jets then play 11 times on Friday and Sunday. Monday and Wednesday weeknights will see Winnipeg's fewest games, with just seven games each. Toronto and Carolina, on the other hand, have twice as many as the league leaders (16). This statistic bodes extremely well for reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck, who thrives off a high workload. With just eight back-to-backs on the season, the idea that Hellebuyck could see 65+ contests this season truly isn't that far fetched.
