BS-WPG- Moves at trade deadline Winnipeg Jets prospect Brayden Yager has hit 300 career WHL points. On Sunday, the 20-year-old centre recorded a natural hat trick en route to a 4-3 win for the Lethbridge Hurricanes over the Calgary Hitmen. In doing so, Yager became the 170th WHL player to reach the milestone. Yager is playing in his fifth and what is likely his final WHL campaign. The first four and a half seasons were spent with the Moose Jaw Warriors, where he was able to win a WHL championship, CHL and WHL Rookie of the Year honours and score 280 of his 301 career points with. With the departures of multiple key players, the Warriors were expected to take a step back in terms of talent, leaving Yager a bit on his own. They named him captain but after just 21 games they traded him to the Hurricanes.
