Available to view on TSN, the matinee affair features a 1:00 PM central start time and will serve as Winnipeg's lone visit to Toronto this season. The Jets are coming off their eighth-straight victory over the Minnesota Wild, as they beat their nearest geographical rival 5-0 from Canada Life Centre on Saturday night. The win was another of the Jets' up-and-down month of December. However, Winnipeg will be playing a bit more gumption on Monday, as Toronto was the team that ended the Jets' season-opening eight-game winning streak. The Jets actually haven't beaten the Maple Leafs since 2021. Toronto will not have captain Auston Matthews in the lineup do to a re-aggravation of his earlier injury, while the Jets may or may not be without their captain, as Adam Lowry left Saturday's game early with some sort of ailment.
