    Kaden Hammell earns three points to help the Silvertips defeat the Hitmen in Everett.

    Everett, WA – Kraken prospect Kaden Hammell celebrated his 200th WHL career game Saturday night as the Everett Silvertips hosted and defeated the Calgary Hitmen 5-3. 

    Hammell recorded three points, including two assists and a sweet shorthanded goal in the second period.

    The Kraken selected the 6'1", 188 lb Langley, B.C., native in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL Draft. He currently tops the leaderboard for Everett and was named to this year's captaincy group. Hammell has seventeen points so far this season, including two goals—one of which was the game-winner—and seven assists.

    The Silvertips are currently in the top spot for the Western Hockey League and continue their homestand Monday night as they face the Red Deer Rebels at 7PM PST.
