The 2025 Chipotle All-American Game takes place Thursday night in Plymouth, Mich. and features 44 of the USHL's top draft-eligible prospects

The 2025 Chipotle All-American Game takes place Thursday night in Plymouth, Mich., putting much of the USHL top draft-eligible talent and the NTDP on display.

The game is set for a 6 p.m. CDT faceoff and will be televised on NHL Network. The event features 44 players, including 19 from the NTDP U18 team, and players will be split onto two rosters – Team Blue and Team White.

All 44 players are college commits and are eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft, and more than 200 scouts are expected to be in attendance.

Here are five prospects to keep an eye on. Players are listed alphabetically.

Kam Hendrickson, G, Waterloo Black Hawks (Team Blue)

Hendrickson is one of four goalies in the game and one of the USHL’s top prospects between the pipes. He’s 5-6-2 with a 2.48 GAA and .916 save percentage this season. However, he did most of it while playing for the league’s worst team (Omaha) and is already benefiting from his early-January trade to Waterloo. Hendrickson was one of Minnesota’s top high school goalies and while the AAG isn’t always fair to those in the crease, it’s a good chance to see how he performs against the league’s top talent.

Ben Kevan, F, Des Moines Buccaneers (Team Blue)

Kevan earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team last season and has continued to produce in year two, scoring nine times and racking up 25 points through 23 games, including 3-3-6 over his past five. The right-shot forward came in at No. 44 in Central Scouting’s Mid-Term Draft Rankings this week, and although he isn’t the biggest body, he offers team tremendous vision and has shown the ability to make plays from anywhere on the ice.

Jack Murtagh, F, NTDP (Team White)

Murtagh came in at No. 25 on Central Scouting’s rankings this week, making him the USHL’s highest-rated North American skater. The left-shot forward is listed at 6-foot and 200 pounds, and has shown plenty of skill with the puck on his stick. Murtagh has eight points (3-5-8) through 10 USHL games and 12-15-27 through 27 games this season overall. He’s one of several NTDP players to watch Thursday night, including LJ Mooney, Will Moore and Cole McKinney.

Jacob Rombach, D, Lincoln Stars (Team White)

Rombach is the USHL’s highest-rated non-NTDP defenseman in terms of his draft stock, and he offers teams a big frame and reach at 6-foot-6 and 186 pounds. He’s not a huge point producer and he only has 19 shots through 28 games, but he skates and moves the puck well, and he’s physical. The Minnesota commit is a plus-12 this season.

Ethan Wyttenbach, F, Sioux Falls Stampede (Team Blue)

Wyttenbach has been at his best in Sioux Falls’ biggest games, and he’ll try to perform well on another big stage Thursday night. John Mustard scored the overtime-winner at the 2024 AAG and was one of the USHL’s top rookies coming in, ultimately winning ROY, and Wyttenbach hopes to follow a similar path. He’s currently tied for the rookie point lead with 31 and ranks eighth in the USHL overall, and he continues to improve his 200-foot game for the Stampede.
