NHL Central Scouting released its mid-term rankings for North American and international players Tuesday ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft.

The USHL has over 50 active players ranked and an additional 15 alumni on the list.

The league’s active players and alumni combine for 61 spots on the list for North American skaters, 27% of the total and more than any other junior league in North America.

    North American Skaters

Boston College freshman James Hagens (NTDP), second, and Wisconsin freshman Logan Hensler, 10th, lead the list of USHL alumni.

NTDP’s Jack Murtaugh, 25th, and Will Moore, 32nd, represent the league’s highest-ranked active players.

The NTDP leads the USHL with 14 players, followed by Lincoln with four. Six other teams have three apiece.

Madison’s Ryker Lee ranks 40th with teammate Mason Moe close behind at 54th. Des Moines’ Ben Kevan ranks 44th, while Lincoln’s Jacob Rombach is just one spot outside the top 50.

Every team in the USHL has an active or former player on the list.

    North American Goalies

Bjorn Bronas (Sioux City Musketeers) ranks 15th on the list. The Chicago Steel’s Jack Parsons is 17th. Both represent active USHL netminders.

    International Skaters and Goalies

Muskegon’s Ivan Ryabkin ranks third among international skaters. Alex Misiak, who joined the Waterloo Black Hawks this week, is ranked 16th.

Among international goalies, Tri-City’s Michal Pradel ranks eighth. Both Misiak and Pradel have yet to play in a USHL game.

    Affiliates

Top-ranked USHL affiliates include Mason West (Fargo Force), who is 50th among North American skaters; Carl Axelson (Sioux Falls Stampede), is 13th among North American goalies; Eric Nilson (Chicago Steel) is sixth among international skaters.

Skaters must have played at least 10 games in the USHL to be considered alumni.
