Four of the Vancouver Canucks six prospects competing in the 2025 CHL Playoffs have advanced to the second round. The only two who were eliminated in the first round were Parker Alcos of the Edmonton Oil Kings and Vilmer Alriksson of the Brampton Steelheads. Here is a look at the matchups for the remaining four prospects.

After sweeping the Saskatoon Blades, Sawyer Mynio and the Calgary Hitmen are off to the second round to face the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Mynio had a successful first round, recording four assists over the four games. Game 1 of Calgary's second round series starts on Thursday, April 10, with the Hitmen having home-ice advantage.
Anthony Romani and Riley Patterson helped power the Barrie Colts to a 4-1 series win over the Niagara IceDogs in the first round. Pattersson finished the series with a goal and three assists, while Romani went on a goal-scoring frenzy, recording eight tallies along with an assist. Barrie will now host the Kingston Frontenacs in the second round, with Game 1 also scheduled for Thursday.
Lastly, Basile Sansonnens and the Rimouski Océanic swept their first-round series against the Charlottetown Islanders. Sansonnens recorded one assist in four games as he helped the Memorial Cup hosts advance to the second round. Up next, Rimouski will host the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, with the series starting on Friday, April 11.
