Should the Buffalo Sabres and New Jersey Devils use a first-rounder to trade for NHL-ready talent? Tony Ferrari and Jacob Stoller discuss.

The Buffalo Sabres received a second-round pick, 42nd overall, from the San Jose Sharks to move down three spots in the first round of Friday's NHL draft.
Sabres GM Kevyn Adams said it was a good value for them to trade down from No. 11 to No. 14, and it gives them "more ammunition" for a potential trade to upgrade their NHL roster for next season. They also have the 43rd overall pick.
"We're actively shopping around to look and see if there's a deal to make to help our roster better with pick 43," Adams said.
While Adams suggested it is likely they'll hang onto their first-rounder, the Sabres are looking for NHL-ready talent this off-season in hopes of ending the 13-season playoff drought.
The Devils, meanwhile, have pick No. 10 one year after finishing third overall in the NHL. Could they move their first-rounder or trade down for more ammo as well in case they see an opportunity to rebound from missing out on the post-season? They already traded next year's first-rounder to the Calgary Flames to get goaltender Jacob Markstrom, but moving picks like these are never out of the question for squads looking to move the needle enough to get to where they want to be.
Tony Ferrari and Jacob Stoller discussed both these teams further in Thursday's episode of The Wraparound Show:
