One Interviewer, 100 interviewees: Inside Brock McGillis' Massive LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Project

Hockey's first openly gay pro men's player is on a mission to chronicle the experiences of LGBTQ+ people with one of the most comprehensive interview projects in the sport's history.

It started with a call for interview subjects. It led to dozens and eventually snowballed to more than a hundred people from the LGBTQ+ community eager to share their experiences in hockey. Brock McGillis' #HockeyPride interviews will begin launching before the end of the month.

He caught up with senior writer Matt Larkin to discuss his project, the state of inclusivity in hockey today, Carl Nassib coming out in the NFL and much more.
