Providence forward and 2025 Draft tenth overall pick for the Anaheim Ducks, Roger McQueen will officially begin his pro career by reporting to the Ducks' AHL affiliate team, the San Diego Gulls on an Amateur Tryout contract (ATO) for the rest of the 2025-26 season.

The 19-year-old was voted to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team and was also named Hockey East Rookie of the Year in his lone season with the Friars after putting up 27 points (11G, 16A) in 36 games
