The Dallas Stars acquired defenseman Tyler Myers from the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday.
The Canucks received a 2027 second-round pick and a 2029 fourth-round pick in exchange for Myers.
Furthermore, Vancouver has retained 50 percent of the blueliner's $3-million annual salary, now counting for $1.5 million against the Stars' cap. Myers has another year after this season left on his contract, and the Canucks now have only one retention spot remaining, according to puckpedia.com.
