The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Friday that they have signed 2026 first overall pick Gavin McKenna to his entry-level contract.
His contract lasts through the 2028-29 campaign as a three-year deal. With that, McKenna will earn $1.075 million against the salary cap, according to puckpedia.com.
Furthermore, McKenna has the opportunity to earn up to an additional $3.5 million per season in performance bonuses, which could push his average annual value to $4.575 million. His bonuses do not count toward his cap hit.
