    After scratching rookie defenseman Harrison Brunicke (Kamloops Blazers, WHL) on Tuesday for "developmental" reasons, the Pittsburgh Penguins are doing the same thing with rookie forward Ben Kindel (Calgary Hitmen, WHL) on Thursday when Pittsburgh takes on the Los Angeles Kings.

    And the fact that both players are on a "development plan" could be an early sign that they are in Pittsburgh to stay this season.
