Calgary Hitmen 3, Lethbridge Hurricanes 2 (OT) Series Tied 2-2 The Calgary Hitmen evened up their series in thrilling fashion, defeating the Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-2 in overtime. Ben Kindle was the hero as he scored 6:08 into the extra frame. As for Andres Miller, he again had a solid night, stopping 32 of the 34 shots he faced for his sixth victory of the playoffs. 3 Stars: Lethbridge: Noah Chadwick- 1 Goal Calgary: Andres Miller- 32 Saves On 34 Shots Lethbridge: Trae Johnson- 1 Goal Medicine Hat Tigers 6, Prince Albert Raiders 1 Medicine Hat Leads Series 3-0 The Medicine Hat Tigers put on a dominant performance Wednesday, defeating the Prince Albert Raiders 6-1. It was once again the Gavin McKenna show as he put up three points and pulled off easily the goal of the playoffs so far. If Medicine Hat can put together another performance like this on Thursday, they will be the first team to advance to this year's East Final. 3 Stars: Medicine Hat: Gavin McKenna- 1 Goal, 2 Assists Medicine Hat: Hunter St. Martin- 1 Goal, 2 Assists Prince Albert Raiders: Aiden Oiring- 1 Assist Victoria Royals 4, Spokane Chiefs 3 Series Tied 2-2 On Wednesday, the Victoria Royals learned that it is never too late to score a game-winning goal. With 30 seconds remaining, Teydon Trembecky scored on the power play to lift the Royals past the Spokane Chiefs by a score of 4-3. Victoria can also thank Jayden Kraus for the victory, as he made 46 saves for his first career WHL playoff victory. 3 Stars: Victoria: Teydon Trembecky- 3 Goals, 1 Assist Victoria: Cole Reschny- 1 Goal, 3 Assists Spokane: Andrew Cristall- 2 Goals Portland Winterhawks 6, Everett Silvertips 5 (OT) Just like the rest of this series, Game 4 was exhilarating from start to finish. The Portland Winterhawks and Everett Silvertips combined for 11 goals, with Josh Zakreski playing hero 15:49 into overtime.
