This is rather unusual news coming out of Sweden.

On Tuesday, March 17, the Göteborgs-Posten announced the transfer of two SDE players, Lisa Johansson and Kassidy Sauvé, to Frölunda next season. The timing is all the more surprising... as SDE is currently facing Frölunda in the SDHL semifinals!

Lisa Johansson reacted by denying the information, seeing it as a way to distract the team. She told HockeySverige: "I'm in the middle of the playoffs with SDE, and my goal is to win with SDE. If they're nervous after yesterday's loss and want to distract us before tomorrow's game with rumors, that's their problem. I haven't made any plans for next season

Frölunda led the series 2-0, but SDE won the third game on Monday. The two teams will meet this Wednesday evening. The series is a best-of-five.
