Cami Kronish, who backstopped Wisconsin to a national championship this season in the NCAA, has signed with AIK in Sweden.

National championship netminder Cami Kronish has signed to play professional women's hockey in Sweden with AIK.
Cronish backstopped the University of Wisconsin Badgers to a spectacular season culminating in an NCAA title. Now, she'll take her game overseas to the SDHL.
"I feel really excited to move to Sweden and play for AIK," said Kronish in a translated AIK news release. "I am looking forward to meeting all my teammates, coaches and all the staff, in addition to experiencing a new city and culture."
Kronish posted a 1.38 GAA and .932 save percentage, along with eight shutouts last season in the NCAA, all among leaders in the nation.
Kronish is stepping into an AIK team that features three signed netminders.
"Having a stable, safe set up on the goalkeeper side is important and the feeling is that we have it with Cami Kronish, Linnea Holterud and Elinah Melinder who will be coached by Linus Appelgren with the support of Stefan Persson," said AIK head coach and director Conny Olausson.
"Cami and Linnea have different experiences that they will be able to share with each other and Elinah will benefit from it for her future, it really feels like a complete goalkeeping team."
Kronish is among a growing group of NCAA and USports grads to sign in the SDHL this offseason including fellow netminders Kate Stuart (British Columbia) and Andrea Brändli (Boston University), and skaters Kaitlyn Yearwood (UConn), Lotti Odnoga (St. Thomas), Shae Demale (Saint Mary's), Abby Moloughney (Ottawa), Shay Maloney (Quinnipiac), Jenniina Nylund (St. Cloud), Sini Karjalainen (Vermont), Lauren Bellefontaine (Syracuse), Kristýna Pátková (Vermont), and Sara Hjalmarsson (Providence).
