California product Jillian Klein is set to become one of the state's few women's hockey stars as the 2008 born forward has launched herself into the national discussion.

One of only five 2008 born players to attend USA Hockey's U-18 development camp, Klein has been a scoring machine for Golden State Elite where she notched 44 goals and 91 points in 59 games this season.

Manino says that Klein has a "good understanding and knowledge of the game/ high end hockey IQ, elite scoring touch/ offensive ability" and all the attributes that help her excel as a focused athlete and teammate.
