Madison Packer has been with the PHF since day one. She'll remain with the league next season after re-signing with the Metropolitan Riveters. The deal was a two-year contract.

Packer, 31, is entering her ninth seasons in the PHF, and fifth serving as the Riveters' captain. She's coming off a 21 point campaign, during which she represented Team USA at the PHF All-Star weekend. Packer's 21 points tied for Metropolitan's team lead alongside Kelly Babstock.

Originally signing a two-year contract prior to last season, Packer voided the second season of her contract to renegotiate. The move came on the heels of the PHF's drastic salary cap increase from $750,000 last season up to $1.5 million for 2023-2024.

Following her season, Packer Tweeted out her thoughts on the state of the league.

"I've never been more proud of a group or humbled to be a part of it," she wrote. "We are making astronomical strides in the [PHF] in our arenas and our communities. The future is bright under our current leadership and I'm blessed everyday to continue to be a part of it."

In 131 career PHF games, Packer has 129 points and won an Isobel Cup in 2018.

Internationally, Packer won two U-18 World Championship gold medals with Team USA compiling 20 points in 10 games over the two tournaments. She also won an NCAA national championship with Wisconsin.

This season the Metropolitan Riveters narrowly missed the Isobel Cup playoffs finishing fifth in the seven team league with a 11-13-0 record, only three points out of a playoff spot.
