When six potential names for the PWHL's original six franchises leaked last month, a firestorm of criticism ensued.

This week with jerseys being unveiled without team names or logos, the discourse and critique continued to spread widely, including among prominent members of hockey media.

It appears the league now finds themselves in a catch-22. Fans want names, but fans also largely disliked the first six proposed names. Response to the generic market based jerseys was mixed.
